| Victoria Carmella, DVM Dr. Victoria Carmella is a dynamic veterinary professional with a diverse background in clinical medicine, corporate leadership, and strategic animal health initiatives. With two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, the animal health industry, and veterinary hospital operations, Dr. Carmella joined Boehringer Ingelheim in 2025. She is a respected consultant and speaker, known for her expertise in veterinary medicine and her ability to translate complex concepts into impactful strategies. Dr. Carmella earned her DVM from Ross University, completing her clinical training at Auburn University, and holds a magna cum laude BA in Psychobiology from Wheaton College. Her leadership is driven by a deep commitment to innovation, education, and the advancement of veterinary care. |  |
Daniel Clayton, VMD, DAVDC Dr. Daniel Clayton is a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist® and Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College™. He began his veterinary dental career as a resident in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery at Veterinary Dental Services in Boxborough, MA in 2018. Prior to this, he completed an internship in small animal emergency and surgery at VCA South Shore in Weymouth, MA in 2006 and worked as a small animal general practitioner for 12 years on Cape Cod. Dr. Clayton received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University in 1998.
Dr. Clayton is an associate at Veterinary Dental Services in Boxborough, MA. In 2023, he started Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery of Rhode Island, a dental referral practice in Warwick, RI. Dr. Clayton is a member of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, the AVMA, the Massachusetts VMA and the Rhode Island VMA. |  | Sue Ettinger, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology) Veterinary Oncology Expert and Advocate Dr. Sue Ettinger, DVM, DACVIM (Oncology), widely recognized as Dr. Sue Cancer Vet®, brings more than two decades of expertise in veterinary oncology to her position at Guardian Veterinary Specialists in Brewster, New York. She is among the 500 board-certified medical oncologists in North America. Her comprehensive training was completed at the Animal Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Ettinger is not only a seasoned clinician but also a 2019 Western Veterinary Conference Small Animal Continuing Educator of the Year. She is a well-regarded speaker internationally, an author, and a staunch advocate for cancer awareness with her initiative, "See Something, Do Something, Why Wait? Aspirate.®", aimed at promoting early detection. On social media, Dr. Sue connects with a wide audience, including 55,000 followers on Instagram, 47,000 on Facebook, and 25,000 on YouTube, providing valuable information and support to pet owners and fellow veterinary professionals. Beyond her professional life, Dr. Sue enjoys being a mother to two teenage boys and spending quality time with her energetic yellow Labrador, Penelope. An enthusiast of running, she finds joy in travel, especially to tropical beach destinations where she can unwind and recharge. |  | Wade Tenney, DVM, DACVSMR Dr. Wade Tenney completed his veterinary studies at Colorado State University. He completed an internship in equine private practice at Littleton Equine Medical Center, where he stayed for an additional two years as an associate veterinarian. He then joined B.W. Furlong and Associates in Oldwick, New Jersey, where he practiced as an ambulatory/clinic veterinarian with a strong focus on reproduction and nuclear scintigraphy. In 2005, Dr. Tenney completed a 1-year fellowship in Large Animal Ultrasound with Dr. Mary Beth Whitcomb and Dr. Betsy Vaughan at the University of California, Davis. Following his fellowship, Dr. Tenney joined Steinbeck Country Equine Clinic on California’s central coast. During this time, he worked as a general practitioner with a strong focus on sports medicine and ultrasound. In April of 2013, Dr. Tenney joined the Large Animal Ultrasound Department at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. At the Hospital for Large Animals, Dr. Tenney works closely with the Sports Medicine, Internal Medicine, and General Surgery services, providing diagnostic ultrasound services to horses throughout the Northeast. Dr. Tenney is boarded in the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is also an FEI Veterinarian and officiates as a Veterinary Delegate at FEI Jumping, Dressage and Eventing competitions throughout the US, Canada, and Mexico. |
