CVMA Awards

The CVMA Board of Directors accepts nominations annually for our service awards. This is an opportunity to recognize a colleague, co-worker or special patient who has made an outstanding contribution and left a lasting impression. In addition to the award, winners receive a 30 minute professional photography session and 10 digital images. Awards will be presented at the Annual Meeting.

The Veterinarian of the Year Award is designed to pay tribute to an individual who has contributed to the advancement of veterinary medicine in Connecticut in the areas of education, research, practice, organized medicine or regulatory service. CLICK HERE to submit a nomination.

The Veterinary Health Care Team Member of the Year is awarded to an individual whose technical skills, efficiency, client relations, and community service exemplifies the best of veterinary medicine in the State of Connecticut. CLICK HERE to submit a nomination.

The Distinguished Service Award recognizes a non-veterinarian who has significantly impacted the well-being of animals.

The Pet of the Year Award is given out annually to an animal who through unselfish and extraordinary behavior, exemplifies the affection, loyalty, security and value of the human-animal bond. CLICK HERE to submit a nomination.
